APPOINTMENT PREPARATION

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow for parking, makeup removal and restroom use.

• Please refrain from having caffeine/coffee to allow maximum relaxation and to avoid eye fluttering.

• Please arrive to eyelash appointments with clean lashes: NO makeup, moisturizer, or serums to allow for maximum lash application time. Make up removal supplies are provided as a courtesy, please arrive 10 minutes early if needed. 

Please refrain from drinking large amounts of water and visit powder room to empty bladder.

CARE/MAINTENANCE: 

We are committed to your health and beauty. We provide verbal, written, video, social media posts, and etc. to ensure that you have the necessary tools and/or information to get the full benefit and enjoyment from your lashes. We just ask that you partner with us by committing to read/review the provided instruction/maintenance card, watch our videos on our website/social media, and feel free to discuss your concerns with us.

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY

A courtesy appointment reminder is texted and/or emailed 48 hours prior to appointments. We respectfully request a minimum of 24hours notice to reschedule/cancel an appointment. Please record the name of the cancelling receptionist. Unfortunately, late cancellations will be charged 50% of the service fee; NO Shows will be charged 100% of the service fee. A credit card number or 50% deposit is required with all reservations. Please save our telephone number in your contacts for speedy access if an emergency arises.

 GUEST/CHILDREN

No guests, including unsupervised children, are permitted in room during service. There’s a strict no children policy, due to liability issues and the fact that eyes must remain closed during procedure.

 

PAYMENTS

We accept cash, all major credit cards, Cash App, Venmo, and Zell. Gratuities are not included or required for any service; they may be given at your discretion.  Prices are subject to change.

 

REFUNDS

You are paying for the artist time, product, and other expenses used to perform a service, therefore, I understand there are NO refunds given for any reason for any service and/or product. If you are unhappy with a service you may contact us within 24hrs of your last appointment to discuss your concerns, efforts will be made to resolve the issue if stylist’s application and/or product is at fault. Appointments, resulting from concerns addressed after 24hrs of last appointment or failure to follow proper aftercare instructions, will be charged full price.

RESERVATIONS/LATE ARRIVALS

Time is of the essence; therefore, late arrivals may not receive time extensions and will be responsible for full service fees. Please notify us if you will be more than 5 minutes late. Arrival more than 15 minutes after your scheduled time may require rescheduling with a 50% late reschedule fee. As we respect your time, we will make every effort to notify you if we are running more than 5 minutes behind your scheduled time.

STUDIO SERVICES

Please inform your Stylist of any medical conditions, medications, or medical treatments you are undergoing (i.e. Hyper/Hypothyroid, Chemotherapy, Surgery, Botox). If at any time during a service you become uncomfortable please inform your Stylist immediately to ensure a speedy and healthy resolution.

 WHAT ARE SEMI-PERMANENT EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

Eyelash extensions are strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash and weigh about as much. Our lashes are thicker at the base and taper to a fine point. Eyelash extensions add curl, thickness, and length to lashes, creating a more youthful, uplifting, open-eyed appearance. They simplify the rest of your beauty regimen since little or no eye makeup is necessary. A darker lash line replaces the need for eyeliner and mascara on most clients. Eyelash extensions are flexible yet crimp-resistant and move with your natural lashes. As long as you keep up with the touch ups, it is almost impossible to tell that you're wearing extensions. E Lash Studios utilizes two techniques: 1D Classic and 2D-5DVolume. 

The Classic application is characterized by 1 single lash applied to each natural lash one at a time giving a very natural appearance. The Volume technique gives 2-5 times the volume as our traditional Classic lash application. This advanced technique has increased the application possibilities more than ever before. The lashes are finer, softer and more durable. Our new 2D-5D Volume Lashes allow the safe application of 2-5 baby fine lash extensions to be applied to 1 single natural lash. This technique, when competently applied by a trained stylist allows a women who has sparse lashes, or those with regular lashes to have more lashes applied than would normally be possible. This new technique gives a soft and fluffy appearance while also stretching the time needed between maintenance refills. You will not notice the addition of the extensions to your lashes and they should not cause your natural lashes to shed ahead of their natural cycle.

HOW SAFE ARE EYELASH EXTENSION ADHESIVES?

Although our procedure does not entail the use of adhesive on the skin, our adhesives have been formulated to be perfectly safe for skin contact. Our adhesives are medical grade, created with the same ingredient that is used by surgeons to close wounds on the skin without stitches.

ARE THEY EASY TO CARE FOR AND HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

Natural eyelashes are programmed to grow and shed in cycles (every 60 to 90 days). When a natural lash matures and sheds, a new natural lash has already been growing and quickly replaces it without us noticing the turnover. This process is constant and at any given moment our many natural lashes are at different stages of their life cycle. Some are just growing in while others are ready to shed. On an average, people shed between 1 and 5 natural lashes each day depending on our individual growth cycles. With proper care and maintenance, touch ups are typically needed once every 2 to 3 weeks to replace the lashes that have shed. With eyelash extensions, it is possible to do any activity, in moderation. The specially formulated adhesives create a water resistant bond that will withstand basic levels of activity.

HOW CAN I MAINTAIN THEIR NATURAL APPEARANCE?

The eyelash application is completely customized for each client. We offer 2 techniques; 6 different thicknesses of lashes; lengths ranging from 5mm to 16mm; and a variety of colours for highlighting effects. Multiple synthetic lash lengths are chosen to carefully replicate the shape and frame of a natural lash line. The technique and thickness of the lash applied is determined by the health and thickness of a client's natural lashes as well as client preference. The 1D Classic technique gives a more natural appearance as they are applied 1 single lash at a time.

 CAN I STILL WEAR MAKEUP OVER THE TATTOOED AREA?

Yes. Permanent Cosmetics should enhance your natural features. Wearing additional makeup is a personal choice and may be done at your own discretion. It is often done to go from a natural day time look to an evening look. Do not apply any makeup for 72 hours.

IS IT PAINFUL?

Permanent Cosmetics is a skin invasive procedure and therefore you may experience some discomfort which varies with individual tolerance levels. The sensation is comparable to tweezing eyebrows/eyelashes. A topical anesthetic is applied throughout the procedure for your comfort.

IS IT PERMANENT?

It is considered permanent because the color is implanted into the dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. It will fade and soften over time depending on skin type, colors chosen, sun exposure and compliance with after care instructions. Color refresher requirements vary on an individual basis and can range from 1-5 years.

IS IT SAFE?

At E Lash Studios, permanent cosmetics, microblading and microshading is performed by a Registered Nurse with an additional Permanent Micropigmentation Certification. A strict sanitary working environment is maintained. All needles are new and sterile for each client and disposed of properly following each procedure.

IS THERE A RISK OF INFECTION WITH PERMANENT COSMETICS?

Yes, if exposed to bacteria a secondary infection may result. Please use only new mascara & makeup after procedure. Wash hands prior to applying cream to area. Apply cream with clean

Q-tip each time.

WHAT IS SOFTAP PERMANENT COSMETICS?

Softap® is a cosmetic tattoo that implants

pigment into the dermal layer of the skin.

WHAT IS THE PERMANENT COSMETICS PROCESS?

This method requires 2 sessions which are included in the fee. The 1st appointment will consist of consultation and 1st application. The follow up appointment is scheduled 4 weeks later to perfect your makeup. Additional appointments will be scheduled on an as needed basis for an additional charge.

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME?

The Softap® method is the gentlest way to instill color. It results in less trauma and therefore less recovery time. You can expect to return to work the next day. Lips will normally have more swelling involved. Do not schedule permanent cosmetics prior to any major events (wedding, vacation, social events.
